Privacy & Marketing Notice
Last updated: 27 June 2026
This notice explains how PeptideWise("we") collects and uses your personal data when you sign up to our newsletter. We are committed to handling your information in line with the UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
What we collect
When you subscribe we collect your email address and a record of your consent (the date and time you opted in and the source of the signup). We do not require any other personal details to send you our newsletter.
Why we use it (lawful basis)
We process your email on the basis of your consent, given via the opt-in checkbox at signup. We use it only to send you marketing and educational emails about peptides, new guides, and related content from PeptideWise. We will not use it for anything else without asking you first.
Who processes it
We use ActiveCampaign as our email marketing platform (a data processor acting on our instructions) to store our mailing list and deliver emails. Your email address is shared with ActiveCampaign for this purpose only. ActiveCampaign may process data on servers outside the UK; where it does, appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) apply.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe or withdraw consent, we remove you from active mailings and retain only the minimum record needed to honour your opt-out.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email, or by contacting us.
- Withdraw your consentat any time (this won't affect anything sent before you withdrew it).
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data.
- Lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe your data has been mishandled.
Cookies
PeptideWise is an educational resource and does not sell products. We keep tracking to a minimum; any analytics or essential cookies used are limited to running the site.
Contact
To exercise any of your rights or ask a question about this notice, contact us via the details on the site. We will respond within one month as required by the UK GDPR.
